Builder Stories

With Fund the Future grant capital, Terrace deployed the first pilot of their modular micro-grid in a community of 400 households that previously had no reliable power. They retained full IP ownership, brought in zero outside equity, and shipped within 8 months of receiving funding.

Mycel used their grant to advance mycelium-based composite research from lab scale to small-batch manufacturing. Their materials are now being tested in two architectural pilot projects. They own every patent and have not taken a single investor meeting.

Hollow Protocol launched their open-source identity layer with Fund the Future support. Within 6 months of funding, the protocol had been adopted by three independent hardware supply chains. The codebase is entirely open and unencumbered by VC governance.
